I can't help you with specific hotels, but having done the trip
many times I can assure you that the train trip from the Zuerich
main train station Hauptbahnhof to the airport is a breeze, so
any hotel within comfortable reach of the Hauptbahnhof is a
good solution if it suits you in other respects.hat opens up a
ton of possibilities others may have names for you.
There are many ways to bring up maps of the center of the city.

zooms, then you see the train station and its suroundings with
all street names.

Here's a site with reviews of Zurich hotels.We stayed in the vicinity of the Quality Inn truthfully, it may have been the same hotel.From that location you won't need a shuttle Just go back and take a train it goes right into the airport terminal.
Also, we got to Zurich without reservations the tourist office in the train station was most helpful . we told them what we wanted to spend she called and got us a room..imple. I'd like to stay in Bonigen or in another lakeside village near Interlaken for 3 nights.he only hotel I can find in my guidebook or on the internet is Seiler au Lac in Bonigen, which costs over 250 USD per night for a double room.'d like to stay in a reasonably nice place with a bit of charm, but had hoped to spend no more than 125 or so a night.an anyone make any recommendations

Have not stayed at Bonigen, have always used
Grindelwald for the Berneroberland.However other
than the 5 star Sieler Au Lac you have a couple
more choices that may fit within your needs.
SCHLOSSLI, 3 star with 30 rooms located on the
shore of Lake Brienz.
SEEHOTEL TERRASSE, 3 star with 40 rooms also located on the shore.
WALIGA, two star with 13 rooms, located near the
lake on the Hauptstrasse.
